Thoughtful Learning
This church values thoughtful searching, dialogue and learning through engagement. No one with honest questions is turned away. Through the years this church has equipped people to be faithful stewards and leaders using whatever talents and opportunities they have been blessed with. People have learned how to be good parents, financial stewards, educators and Christian witnesses. They have become leaders in their community.
Great Content, Great Facilitators
Adult Learning for Life sessions run from 9:30 – 10:30 am on Sundays, September to June, and take a break for the summer. They focus on current topics or topics for those growing in their spiritual lives. There is at least one ongoing Bible Study based session. There are small groups which meet on a weekly basis in homes. These groups combine Bible Study, discussion, prayer and fellowship. Godly Play for young children is based on the Montessori method of learning. Oasis Workshop Rotation for older children teaches major Bible stories and concepts through kid-friendly workshops. Kids love it and teachers love it.
